Ticos Breakfast & Lunch in Marina

Really great family restaurant. I ate breakfast there which was great. It's hard to mess up breakfast though. They make a nice spicy sauce in-house which i used to add a unique flavor to my meal. The place is clean, well-run, friendly staff, excellent service. Prices are reasonable. Parking is free and easy.

I'm staying at a hotel nearby and wanted to venture out for breakfast in town. I found this cozy place on Google and had a delicious breakfast of Eggs Florentine. Tico's is known for their hollandaise sauce, and it didn't disappoint. The eggs were perfectly poached and the potatoes were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. I also got a side of bacon, which they prepared extra crispy as I asked. Oh and a lemon slice on the water glass - always a nice touch. Everything was clean and the service was friendly and attentive. I might even go back tomorrow to try the seasonal special, persimmon pancakes.

As one who likes to eat at local non chain restaurants when I’m visit here every year, this place is on my always go to list. Fresh, light, great tasting. Wish I had found it earlier.

We arrived for dinner on a Saturday night and had the fried artichoke, lobster cannelloni and blackened salmon. The service and food was excellent.Very cozy spot for dinner.

Excellent breakfast. Had the eggs Benedict and they where excellent, with a homemade Hollandaise sauce that really shines. My wife had mango pancakes, not fluffy maybe because of the mango, but the flavor was really good. Service was good. The place is small, but we had a table without waiting.

Tasty and quick service. I ordered the steak and eggs with a pancake and potatoes. My husband ordered juevos rancheros. Only thing is they don’t have a public restroom. Pretty small but quaint. Good service too!

We just got back from an early dinner (they mentioned that they are opening for dinner more often now) so call ahead. It is well worth the call. Everything was excellent! Service was terrific.

It's a super delicious spot! I mainly come here for their breakfast food. I had their salmon Benedict with potatoes. Their hollandaise sauce is on point. It's a small gem in Marina with mouthwatering dishes.

I enjoyed the environment of a small place tucked away on the edges of the commercial part of Marina. The parking can be a bit tight, at least when we went. The food was pretty good with the standard breakfast and lunch menu and the service made the entire thing a nice experience with my son. Would recommend if you're looking for standard comfort food.

Don’t be put off by the exterior or the plain atmosphere. The food is excellent and the service is wonderful. Marina is sorely lacking in good dining, but this place really carries the day. The ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, and the offerings are great. If they don’t have what you want, they’ll work on it. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely give this place a chance.

Great little hole in the wall. A jump off the freeway. The server was nice enough some mistakes. I don't know if he wasn't listening that well when we ordered but I feel like he was preoccupied. There were a couple of miscommunication at my table. On drink order was not heard and an extra side order didn't come out with all the other food. He made it right as we spoke up and told him. The cook was slow one our food coming out. I seen couple walk out as they didn't get helped on.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Staff is pleasant, and the food is excellent. I especially like the wild mushroom omelette.

At the moment you step in that restaurant team give you an agreeable feeling. Very comfortable crew, it is a lovely restaurant to hang out with your friends or with your date. delightful cuisine, skillful chief cook and stuff, good pay and courteous service. Warmly recommended.

The pasta and soup was great but the bread used for my sandwich was so dry that the top of my palate got irritated and feels raw. Not ordering the calamari sandwich again. The waitstaff also had to be reminded to refill drinks.

I think this place will be our weekly breakfast place for the wife and I. Small place, few outdoor tables. Food is great. I'm a fan of the apple fritters and eggs. Great place for that laid back, Sunday breakfast

Rounding up from 3.5 stars. This place is just fine. There isn't anything particularly exciting about this place. The prices, ambiance, service, food is all just fine. The side salad I got was quite good. There isn't really that much to say about it.

We live in East Garrison and always looking for a good place for dinner and found that Ticos offers dinner Friday and Saturday nights. WOW, had the prime rib dinner and was very satisfied and happy to know where I can get a good steak. They are waiting for a liquor license; however, will allow us to bring wine and self-serve ourselves until they get a license.Will be back for sure!
